About US

We are a dynamic platform founded on the belief that collaboration is the key to transforming education. At Leaders Connect, we are passionate about creating a community where educators, leaders, and districts come together to share knowledge, innovate, and drive positive change in education

Our Story

Leaders Connect was born out of the vision to create a space where educators could connect, learn from one another, and collectively elevate the quality of education. Since our inception, we have worked with passionate educators and districts across the country, witnessing the transformative impact of collaboration on educational practices.

Our Mission

At Leaders Connect, our mission is to empower educators and districts to excel by fostering collaboration, providing innovative professional learning opportunities, and creating a networked community committed to continuous improvement.

Project Objectives

Our collaborative work (2017-2024) is funded through MSD of Decatur Township's USED Teacher and School Leaders Incentive Program Grant (2021).    The grant project's foundational objectives include:

  • improve student achievement
  • improve the recruitment, retention, and promotion of educators of color
  • support educator growth through high-quality professional development to increase teacher and school leader effectiveness while also providing opportunities for career advancement
  • continual expansion of the NIC to strengthen the capacity of existing and future member districts
  • evaluate each project activity against student achievement and cost
  • create sustainable systems of constant improvement for each of the previous five objectives
