Welcome to Leaders Connect, a national network of over 30 school districts across 20 states that has been committed to collaboration, innovation, and high-quality professional development since 2017. Our community is designed to help schools and districts tackle their toughest challenges by leveraging the expertise and success stories within our network. We believe that together, we can overcome obstacles and achieve outstanding results without always needing to look externally—especially in a time of shrinking budgets.
As a Leaders Connect member, your district gains access to a range of supports and resources designed to strengthen instructional practices, leadership development, and overall district performance. Benefits include:
Access to a network of colleagues and peers
This is the heart of the network. Join a vibrant community of educators and leaders committed to learning and improvement. As part of this network, our team facilitates the connection between districts and can help think through the specific areas of analysis, questions, and final form of feedback.
Communities of Practice
Engage in practitioner facilitated communities of practice that bring together educators facing similar challenges to unpack problems of practice, identify successful strategies, and analyze how these successes were achieved.
Impact professional learning series
Receive customized learning experiences focused on high-need areas such as High-Quality Instructional Materials, MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports), and leadership development. We use the input from the network members to identify the greatest need/interest for professional learning and design/facilitate those sessions. Sessions offered have a variety of topics on multiple days/times.
Free Registration for In-Person Convenings
Attend exclusive in-person network gatherings at no additional cost. Each event will be topically focused and designed for certain role(s) within the district. We are currently planning for 3 events each calendar year during the most conducive times of year for our districts.
Vetted Resource Sharing Hub
There are so many great things happening in districts and specially in the Leaders Connect District - the hub provides vetted resources so educators are not constantly reinventing the wheel, but not only access to the resource but to the creator(s) of the resources for any clarifying questions.
Grant writing services/inclusion in federal grant opportunities
As the Leaders Connect team identifies grant funding opportunities to grow the network in terms of scope or size, we will offer members an opportunity join those proposal and take on all the writing and submission duties.
Bi-weekly email with resources and effective practices
Receive a bi-weekly newsletter with curated resources and best practices. This email provides updates on the network, events, upcoming professional learning as well as highlighting great things happening in the districts.
Podcasts of professional learning
We know time constraints prevent people from being able to engage live in some of the professional learning opportunities, so we are creating podcasts versions of professional learning topics to provide an opportunity for people to listen to as their schedule allows - perhaps on their commute to/from school.
District ILT training and monthly coaching support
Leaders Connect provides optional training and coaching for district ILT teams to use an accountability-focused project management approach to their work.
Special communities for superintendents and district leaders
Engage in unique communities that cater specifically to the needs of superintendents and other district-level leaders. The network will provide professional learning opportunities for these roles led and facilitated by someone who has sat (or is currently sitting in the chair) so that the content is both timely and relevant.
Coaching and support for principal supervisors
We know principals are a key lever for ensuring school successes to their coaching is critical. Receive targeted coaching and support designed to help principal supervisors improve their leadership and management skills.
ELL support
Participate in professional learning sessions designed specifically to support ELL teaching and learning. This support is provided through the Communities of Practice and the Impact Series and utilized current ELL practitioners to design and facilitate the professional learning opportunities.
As our federal grant support concludes on December 31, 2024, Leaders Connect is transitioning to a membership-based model to ensure we can continue providing the same high level of support and professional development.
Starting in 2025, districts can join the Leaders Connect network for an annual membership fee:
$5,000 per district for up to 5 schools
